XOXO, Philanthropy sounds like a familiar sign-off, but it’s really a starting point into philanthropy with substance behind the style. At its core, this space is about care: for mission, for community, and for the people who make meaningful work possible.
If I had to sum up my approach to philanthropy, I would probably align more with Blair than Serena. I’m strategic, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambition. I like plans. I like follow-through. And I believe that intention and preparation are what turn good ideas into lasting impact.
Professionally, I am a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with broad nonprofit and fundraising experience. I’ve spent my career helping organizations strengthen individual giving programs, build authentic donor relationships, and align strategy with mission. I hold a B.S. in Sports Psychology from Texas Christian University, a background that shaped how I think about motivation, teamwork, and the human side of philanthropy.
There’s nothing wrong with charm, creativity, or spontaneity—those qualities matter. But in fundraising, they work best when paired with structure, consistency, and follow-through. Strategy creates sustainability. Attention to detail builds trust. Ambition, when rooted in purpose, drives growth. That’s where I do my best work.
Outside of work, I’ve called Fort Worth home for more than 20 years, though I’m originally from America’s Finest City, San Diego. I love working out, reading, taking solo road trips, and playing with my pet rabbits. I am a proud member of The Junior League of Fort Worth and love volunteering in the community. I believe that showing up as a whole person, even in professional spaces, makes this work more human and more effective. After all, people give to people.

I’ll share lessons from the field, answer FAQ’s, and the realities behind building sustainable impact—with a little personality, but always with purpose.
